The fact that you are reading this article about spirituality is proof that mankind is interested in spritual growth, even if we make decisions that we are consciously unaware.
Spirituality has grown over the years, many spiritual leaders have added their understandings into the records of humanity. The great teachers have all taught that man should not fight evil, but avoid it. The problem is that until to avoid evil, you must recognize it. Jesus Christ taught the idea, "By their fruits you will know them." This principle of spirtuality recognized that what was important was to observe the actions of our fellow man versus falling prey to the spoken lies that would deceive us.
The quest for spirituality has finally lead to the most critical realization of all:
Mankind lacks the capacity to recognize the difference between good and evil.While many may protest that they have the ability to discern good from evil, history has shown us otherwise. Our leaders and the public that elected them have made catastrophic errors in judgement before. It is only when we humbly surrender to the fact that, un-aided, man is gullible and easily seduced by the glamour of that which would remove us from the path. The spiritual path is littered with false prophets and religious cults. These huxsters prey on our attraction to the novel and to our desire for 'uniqueness'. They promise power and fame and all they require is your devotion. If you make 'donations' they will reward you with 'Secret Teachings'.
The Bible has made reference to this:"For you conflict is not only with flesh and blood, but also with the angels, and with powers seen and unseen, with the rulers of the world of darkness, one with the evil spirits under the heavens."
Spirituality was once as difficult as wondering down a forrect path on a moonless night. Some people were able to navigate their way through. Kinesiology is like finding a halogen spotlight. The path is now obvious, the choice to follow it is yours.
