Concept of being well from inner self in tasawwuf

Bullay Shah (Orginal name : Abdullah Shah Qadri) May Allah's blessings be upon him says :

Jay Rabb milda nahateyan dhoteyan nuu

(If closeness of Allah was destined for the pgysically clean ones only)

Tey rabb milda dadduaan machhiyan nu

(then the frogs and fish would also be entitled to his closeness)

Jey Rabb milda jungle phiryan nu

(If closeness of Allah was destined for those who leave this world and wander in jungles)

Tey Rabb milda gaavan vachhiyan nu

(then cows and buffaloes would also be entitled to his closeness)

Ve bulleya Rabb onhan nu milda

(O bullay! Allah's closeness is for those)

Dil de achheyan sacheyan nu

(Whose innerself is pure,tidy and good)

Assan Ishq Namaz Jaddoun neeti hai

(Once we intend to love )

Taddoun bhul gaye mandar maseeti ae

(At that very moment we forget the differences of mosque and temples)

Bullay Shah has actually given a very deep message.He criticizes those who give importance to physical cleanliness,being well dressed etc.He says that if this aspect was important according to Allah,then frogs and fish would also get the ma'rifat and closeness of Allah.But since the fact is not this way,so it means that being clean physically is'nt as much important as from inner self.

Next,he criticizes those who leave the world and wander in the jungles to avoid the world and the possible sins that they might commit in this world.He says that it is not a wise act to boycott this world.As if it were a necessary condition for the closeness of Allah,the cows and buffaloes would als get the closeness of Allah.But since the fact is'nt this way either .So,it means that One should not leave the world totally.Rather he should face the world yet avoiding the sins and immoralities.This is the real act of bravery.This principle is known as Khalwat darr anjuman (seclusion in gathering) in naqshbandi order.it meansto free your heart from the love of world and and things within it yet being physically present among the people and helping them.

He further concludes that O bullay! Allah's closeness is for those who are good from innerself.Who never discriminate among Hindu,Muslim,Christian etc when it comes to the actions of common welfare.Those who are the seekers of Allah's love and closeness should not discriminate between Hindu and Muslim.Bulay Shah says that i am the seeker of Allah's love and closeness and hence i do not discriminate between temple and mosque (i.e Hindu and Muslim)

Note:

being well also means that a person uses his common sense and ponders upon the signs of Allah which are manifested in he nature abundantly to reach the conclusion that the creator of this universe is only one Lord.no one is like him in any aspect.no one shares his authorities and powers in true sense.

There are examples when people pondered upon this point they concluded that there is only one creator of the universe and no one shares his authorities and powers and that He does'nt possess a physical existence because physical existence needs a creator and hence the supreme authority should be one which has'nt been created rather He has been exisitng since ever.Otherwise,the concept of creator would be proved wrong.
