Assalam u alayekum!
May the peace and blessings be upon you all.
This is a very famous persian verse of Syedna Khawja Muin-Ud-Din Chishti Ajmeri:
Ganjj Bakhsh Faiz e Alam Mazhar e Noor e khuda
(The divisor of tresures ,the one from whom the world gains (spiritual benefit),the manifestation of God's Nuur i.e light )
Naaqisan ra peer e kaamil ,kaamilan ra rehnuma
(He is the perfect guide for the imperfect ones and those who have been perfect he can even guide those ones)
People often make objections on the word Ganjj Bakhsh and say that hte divisor of treasures (both spiritual and material) is Allah.Therefore ,it is not right to say someone Ganjj Bakhsh.Actually they jst make baseless accusitions.Since when we say Syedna Ali bin Usman Al Hajvery RehmatUllah Alaye hi wa Qaddas Sirrahu'l Aziz as Ganjj Bakhsh or Daata Sahib we do'nt mean that he is the absolute authority.No.Rather we mean that Allah is the absolute authority and He has given countless authoiites to Seal of Prophets,our beloved Syyedna wa Maulana Muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wa ala ahle bayti hi wasallam (i.e May peace and blessings be upon Him and His family) as mentioned in Sahi Bukhari by Him:
I am the divisor and Allah bestows.
The point to be noted is that there is'nt specification of anything i.e Seal of Prophets (May peace and blessings be upon Him) is divisor of everything by the grace of Allah.
SubhanAllah.
And all the Muslim Mystics and saints are taking benefit from Seal of Prophets Syedna Muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wasallam and conveying that benefit to masses.In this sense Hazrat Ali Bin Usman Al-Hajveri's title of Ganjj Bakhsh is justified.(Althought there are other reasons as well which we find in books about his biography)
Second objection is that peer e kaamil is Seal of Prophets Salla'l la ho alaye hi wasallam so this title does'nt suit anyone else.This objection is due to the fact that people are unaware of the meaning of peer.Peer is one who trains one in peity and spiritualism and trains one in such a way so as to stick to the right path firmly until one reaches to the pleasant and blessed presence of Syyedna muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wasallam.A peer is meant to make his murid a strict follower of sharia'h and sunnat.Not everyone can get direct access by himself to the blessed performance of Syyedna Muhammad Salla'l la ho alye hi wasallam because not every one is protected from sins and worldly desires.To reach that blessed presence and to benefit spiritually from the Noblest of all creations ,nd the gretest among all the creations,Seal of Prophets Syedna Muhammad Salla'l la ho alaye hi wsallam one needs a guide who may train one spiritually and religiously.That guide is called peer.
I make ir clear.Suppose you have an intimate friend.Someone approaches your friend and asks him to forward his demand/application/appeal etc to you.Would you turn down such an application.?
No.you wo'nt.because the applcations and beloved ones are not turned down.This makes clear the importance of having a guide so that your connection with him (no matter how much weak it may be) may lead you to blessings.
May Allah keep all of us loyal to
His friends and that may we all keep loving His friends .Aaamin
May Allah make Syedna ali Bin usman Al Hajveri and Khawaja Muin Udin Chishti RehmatUllahi alayehim ajmaeen happy and pleased with us.Aamin.
