The ancient but most effective and purest form of literature is trans literature. It is never written. It is felt, observed, absorbed, remains in the junkyards of our senses and finally revealed. It is always more than words. A feel which peeps into sensations of our self and finally we are moved by its passive trans injections. I am not placing some specific example of trans literature intentionally.

Uxi Mufti is another name of sensation. He never lived as a socio moved man or in other words he has been a failure as son, brother, father etc. Actually he is a failure as far as our standards are concerned. But being very true, he always lived as a sense. Sometimes he is an ear, eye, taste etc etc. He looks at something, feels, absorbs, and then lets it be there for the decades to come.
He traveled to far off places of Pakistan. He felt the words still being used, saw the grains still being measured, absorbed the nothingness of poor folks of deprived masses of Pakistan, and above all remained between the senses of this land i.e. artists throughout his whole life. So he kept this whole story at the dark junkyards of his self and finally he revealed it.
Aik Din ki Bat is the only "fatwa" revealed by this MUFTI of Pakistan. But what a fatwa he revealed. Falling short of words to define this kind of trans literature, I here admit that Mufti has bypassed minds to make his presence felt to the masses of Pakistan. This book never argues. It just peeps through our darks and at the end we stand naked in front our self.
I am not some literary geek so few lines of mine must not be regarded as some review of this book. I just wanted to commemorate the time I passed with this book. Thanks to Mr. Sohail Taj for blessing me with such a marvelous piece of writing. Uxi Mufti has revealed his only fatwa againts Mumtaz Mufti's bulky ailiz... Lolz
