Being in a Mehfil ( Spiritual Gathering) of Silsla Aalia Naqeebia

Last week, i was one of the special and lucky ones to attend a spiritual gathering of Silsla Aalia Naqeebi held in Tahir Pur near Multan. I had a desire to attend and was lucky enough to get the chance to be there in the pure spiritual islamic sincere environment where there was love and peace every where.

A brief background of Silsla naqeebia goes as follows. This is blessed in the name of Hazrat Khwaja Faqeer Sufi Mohammad naqeeb ullah Shah (RA) who rests in eternal peace in Naqeeb Abad Sharif near Qasoor. Now his son  Col (Rtd) Sufi mohammad Azmat Ullah Shah (RA) has got the responsibility and guiding the followers in a decent way. The gathering i attended was also headed by this great sufi scholar. 16th Jashan e Naqeebi

The program started with the arrival of Baba Ji i.e. Hazrat Sufi Azmat Ullah Shah (RA). Then recitation of Holy Quran. The qari sahib recited the "Sorah Teen" . Then Baba Ji elaborated it word to word making it more clear and understandable to every one sitting there. It was followed by Naat khwani. Then Mehfil e Sama started and it ended at 230am. Then Mehfil e Zikr started which lasted for about one hour. Then every body went asleep.

The next day we got up and headed towards home because the person who was with me got his soul blessed with much spiritual and sacred feelings of universal truths and religious entities which science is still to even think in those lines. So that beloved brother of me brought me back. Onething more i think was the reason that i had got as much as i could absorb. So we were back with Abbass bhai and Sufi Nadeem sb from D G Khan.

The speech Baba Ji made there while elaborating the meaning of verses from Holy Quran included following points.
1. Always be grateful and satisfied to Allah what ever you get or you are denied in spite of praying and working hard for that.
2. Never ever utter a word showing the passimist approach towards life, blessings of Allah and social behaviors.
3. Study Quran as much as you can. Make it a routine. Must read it everyday even if you can read two words per day but do read, study their meanings and think over that.

This gathering was one of the very special and most precious moments of my life. God bless all Naqeebi brothers and Muslims all over the world.
