"Wahdat-ul-Wajood" (Ultimate Unity of Being).

Wahdat-al-Wajud
(Arabic: وحدة الوجود) the "Unity of Being" is a sufi philosophy emphasizing that "there is no true existence except the Ultimate Truth (God)". Or in other words the only ultimate truth, the universe is God, and that all things exist within God only. All of his creations emerge from `adim (عدم non-existence) to wujood (existence) out of his thought only.

The only truth existing is God himself and there is no existence of the separate universe. In some other beliefs "the Divine Will is at work behind all that is happening in the universe". The Divine Will which is absolute and everlasting manifests itself in the diverse aspects of this universe".

Ibn-e-Arabi is the first muslim philosopher known to be the preacher of this ideology. Mostly spiritual leaders of Islam all over the world follow this ideology.But some people who do not believe in it catagorize it as the product of mixed concepts of Islam and Hinduism about God.But in real, this is not true.At the same time another Ideology which is a little bit different from this is Wahdat-ul-Shahood. A few spiritual leaders of sub--continent are known as the followers of this.

Hazrat Mujadad Alf Sani(R.A) criticised this ideolody and gave their point of view in the following words;
" universe has no existence of its own and is a shadow of the existence of the necessary being".

He also said "one should discern the existence of universe from the absolute and that the absolute does not exist because of existence but because of his essence".

This is i think the most appropriate example which can be quoted on this topic. Once Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Farid(R.A) told his "khidmatgar(the person who was with him most of the time to serve and take care of him)" not to go for women. He replied in saying that i don,t bleive in Wahdat-ul-Wajood so every soul has a separate existence.
But when he went to see the women he used to meet, he saw her standing at a distance. When he went near to her, he saw Khwaja Farid standing there. He again looked at him to get confirmation but he still saw Khwaja Farid(R.A) standing there calling him. He turned back from the same steps straight to home of Khwaja Farid(R.H). When he reached there, he saw Khwaja Farid(R.A) sitting there. Then he got the point about Wahdat-ul-wajood and asked for mercy. He confessed all his sind and became believer of Khwaja Sb(R.A).

Wahdat-al-Wajud is rubbish and believing in this ideology is believing a "Castle in the Air" and sign of a sick mind...

Had anything like this existed The Holy Prophet must have shared it with Sahaba if not mentioned in the Quran...

@aia.... When you can,t understand something, better leave it. If you had a little knowledge of "Tauheed" you would not have said like this. It would be better for you to have a study of "Tauheed". Then study Wahdat-ul-Wajood.... Good Luck.
