There was a time when it used to be a long travel, years old struggle, motivation and much more just to get into the spirituality and in it's purest form which has been described in Islam. But the time changed along with the means of communication plus media n social media made this world a global village.
So the Sufism came across this change in a positive move with the modern techno trends going in favor of modern concept of religion which ultimately rests in the laps of spirituality i.e. Islamic way of Sufism or the modern concept of whirling dervish mythology.
And this trail never stops.
Me being the influenced one from Silsla e Aalia Naqeebia headed by late Hazrat Khwaja Naqeeb Ullah Shah RA have always been amongst the blessed ones' although I never came up to it. So I remain curious about the annual Sufi meet which is held every year in the name of Hazrat Khwaja Sufi Muhammad Naqeeb Ullah Shah RA. His shrine is situated just three miles before the Kasur city. This place has been named as Naqeeb Abad shareef after his name.
This is headed by his blessed son named Hazrat Khwaja Sufi Azmat Ullah Shah Naqeebi RA. This might be shocking for most of most of us that The followers of Hazrat Khwaja Naqeeb Ullah Shah RA more in number as compared to any Sufi on the face of earth except Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani RA. THeir number according to my info is more than one million.
This year, this spiritual meed is being held from 1st to 4th Sept at his shrine called Astana e Aalia Naqeeb abad Sharif. One can say that the spiritual leadership of Pakistan and followers from all over the world are here during these four days. One must be there during these four days. To feel the essence of Sufism, this is a chance. One must be advised not to miss that chance.
